Hi, I’m Lori.
The traveler and storyteller behind “Adventures of Lolo”. In August 2023, I embarked on a year-long journey around the globe, driven by a need to heal and rediscover myself after experiencing two major personal losses. What started as a quest for renewal quickly became a 14-month adventure across 5 continents, 18 countries, and countless cities.
Now, as a full-time traveler, I continue to explore the world, sharing my authentic experiences with humor and honesty. Through “Adventures of Lolo”, I offer a glimpse into the real side of travel—embracing both the highs and lows. My hope is to inspire you to embark on your own journey, face the unknown, and find your own adventures.
“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you.”
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
“I am not the same, having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world.”
